There are things that inspire us as we wander through life. Many are inspired by great art, magnificent architecture, glorious music, and people and things of great beauty. I am inspired by it all.
Had a wonderful shoot with an inspiring young talented actress, filmmaker, producer, director and model, Miss Julie Simone. Such a talented young vibrant personality. And gloriously gorgeous. Truly an evening of photos to be remembered.

So now we finally get to have a meeting with the wonderful friendly folks from the IRS who wish to explain how it wasnt really a half million it was just a quarter million. If I pay it in 30 days they will be pleased.
I looked today in the online dictionary about tax and torture.
It says under tax ........ see torture.
It says under torture........... see tax.
I never knew that before.
How fun.
If you never hear from me again, it will be because they decided the only was was to kill me and eat me.
I hope they choke. |

I'm around a lot more than it may seem. I just sometimes won't post if there is little to add.
Its been a while since I had some celebratory news.
I am unsure about celebrating, but I have won the last 5 rounds.
I have a new supporter.
I suspect we will win most of the arguments, but it is a very oppressive game.
It is comforting to know I might find a leader in the field to defend my positions.
Always optimistic. The support is very very encouraging.
Hope you are doing well if you are finding time to read about me.

I've found that another friend of mine has a birthday today.
I boxed up some things to send off and fedexed them.
Later i kicked myself for not taking the time to wrap them.
I did enclose a couple of cards.
My other friend has a birthday today and i probably won't see him till the spring show.
its a fun thing to go and choose some things your friends might like
i had to argue with myself, she'll like this, no she won't.
She'll like this one
no she won't
She'll like these two, ok maybe this one.
So..... i just sent a collection of things.
I'm much happier when i can do things for friends.
I've been looking for windows of opportunity to make people smile again.
What i also need is some good things to happen to make me smile.

| Switching |

I just noticed that my LJ profile hosts me as a switch.
I'm wondering if that is problematic for most folks.
I find that I just dominate the room in almost all circumstances.
I just got off a conference call, and someone commented that I didnt say as much as I usually do.
Theres a reason for that.
I have been surprised that the young ones I have mentored have learned to flap their wings and fly. I'm just stunned, sort of.
but then,
i didnt select people for their leadership that were wimps or had no abilities or had no brains.
So, why should i worry about being a switch.
Its odd that once in a while i need someone to slap me around a bit.
Almost no one can do it.
Pretty much everyone i meet is intimidated.
Hmmmmmmmmm
its an amazing thing about switching.
Its typical for folks like me to top from below.
Theres almost no way to be in charge, with someone who is always in charge.
So now, if you arent confused, call me.
I'll fix that for you.

| wrong kind of trojan |

Sadly, I was surfing and enjoying some very lovely video imagery, and I got this huge warning sign on my screen.
I GOT THE VIRUS.
I HATE VIRUSES
and worst of all, it was the wrong kind of trojan.
I don't mind trojans in a lot of siuations, they can be helpful.
BUT THIS ONE SUCKS, and not in an enjoyable way.
Anyway, its the virtumonde virus.
Now some 20 hours later, after much research and trial and error, I have removed what appears to be the last vestiges of the stupid virus and my machine is back to functional again.
I hope , I pray, I better by damn not have given any of my friends the stupid virus.
I am in a serious habit of stopping all communication when I recognize a virus, and then immediately learning how to remove the malware and go back to the proper prophylactic measures which have helped me be pretty free of a lot of this SHIT for a couple of years.
In a moment of weakness, I just said yes with my eyes nearly shut when I should have said NO.
Alls well now.

I must obviously be unamerican.
I started a bunch of companies. I hired people. I provided services.
I had one of my companies do some work, rent some equipment and film some work for sale nationally.
Then I got hit by a tornado.
I suffered some losses.
I got myself up. dusted myself off. and started up again.
And then My Insurance company sued me for protection. They didnt want to lose any money since I lost a lot.
And then the IRS audited.
They threw out the deductions, and decided it was all invalid.
They ignored we had already paid tax.
They ignored the appeal on the audit.
They still are attacking now after 10 years.
They came after me for criminal charges.
I suppose, if you go to church, and you work hard, and you raise your kids right and try to pay your taxes, then you are unamerican.
Only in america can you be punished for being successful.
Only in america can you be told you are unfit to own a portion of a company because you might be in a position to make it suffessful.
Only in america is an insurance company permitted to hide from obligation to help you with losses they had charged premiums to cover.
They get paid, the lawyers get paid, the judge smiles and everyone goes home and you still have the losses but no longer are insured.
Its a great country. |

| No one sees these anyway |

I'm browsing about and checking on some online friends and their posts.
Life is bringing a large smorgasborg to many of us.
One will be unhappy with a package of fees hooked onto some civil penalty ignored in the past.
I have one of those.... 250,000 of dollars by the IRS right after being slammed by a storm and having to change my juggle pattern.
Another feels sick and tired. I have some of that... I'm sick, and I'm tired all the time but others are sick and tired and I have to help them. Its a job and somebody has to do it.
Another has frustration that the world misbehaves and others don't get things done the way they say they will.
I have some of that.. The accounting firm dealing with all my work just 'forgot' to do my personal returns in the midst of all the others. And then they forgot to continue forward with the contested appeal of the erroneous dump by the IRS. SOoooo I got stomped on again, this time with a criminal investigation.
And then, the bank, Wachovia for those who have an interest, decides to stop answering their phone and to stop being friends and to hang me out somehow. SOOOooooo they decide to forclose. Gosh Let me find a new banking partner somewhere. Nope that one won't . Nope that one neither. Sooooo I suppose I'm going down the tubes.
Naaaaa.. .. just sell the stocks, sell the second house, sell some more stocks. borrow from profit sharing and pay the bastards off.
Why would a bank that makes money off of people who borrow from them, decide they wanted to be out of the business of helping people.
Perhaps it was because I got hit by a tornado, sued by my insurance company to avoid the losses, dumped by my malpractice attorney team who filed on behalf of the casulaty insurance company, left by my partners and ignored by the IRS and pretty much written off as dead.
SURPRISE. I NOW OWN THE OFFICE< THE LAND AND THE PRACTICE AND DON"T OWE THEM ANYTHING except whatever the IRS decides they will steal from me anyway.
SOOOooo Life has its lessons. I vote we all have one last lemonade party on labor day weekend and move on.

amazingly, even as we are trying to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars the people who have held the stock hostage are creating obstacles to payment. amazing how big business works. |

Is it me, or is the Friday the 13th stuff just losing its potency these days. After all, all the bad luck I have the rest of the time, makes this day seem like its just a wonderful day to go to the park or have a fun time at the beach or whatever.
I doubt everyone feels as though this is their "Lucky Day" but some people do. Since nothing bad has happened to me today, I suppose its My Lucky Day too. |

Today, she came back and demanded I fix it. Never mind she had seen me a year ago and had not done what I asked and had not followed up as requested. Never mind she has now gone to numerous other folks and keeps giving the same complaint which is never "NEVER" confirmed by observation.
She's just shopping for the answer she wants and is spending everyone elses money.
She's just like the 86 year old preacher who would not agree to let go of momma....
O NoooOOOOOoooooo she has a STROOOOOOooooonnnng will to live. A stroOOOOOOOoooonnng will to live. Grandma was 102 and dying.
Sue the bastards and keep spending all the money on attorneys.
I have had it with idiots. I think there will be an IQ test to see me from now on. |
